My name is Yana, and I own Four Paws Pet Sitting. I have owned pets throughout my life, and animals are my passion. I work at a dog daycare, which has given me a deeper understanding of animal behavior. I’ve always had a vision of working with animals, and I started by watching pets for friends. From there, my business began to flourish.
My Story
Thank you for visiting my website! I have had extensive experience with pets throughout my life. I’ve been around dogs since I was a baby, and got my first dog when I was 15. While I didn’t have much experience with cats until I was around 17, I’ve since owned cats and provided pet-sitting services for many of them. I’ve also been around horses since I was very young, with experience in lunging, mucking, and grooming.

Animals are my passion and the reason I’ve succeeded in life. I run my own business and work at a dog daycare called Sunrover, having worked in dog daycares since 2023. Although I am currently studying nursing, I plan to continue running Four Paws Pet Sitting for the foreseeable future.

In addition to working with animals professionally, I have personal experience training dogs. My first dog, Jiro, was a trained service dog that I trained myself. When I was younger, I also took the lead in training my family’s dogs.
About Four Paws Pet Sitting
Even though Four Paws Pet Sitting officially opened in early 2024, I've always dreamed of working with animals. My first dog, Jiro, made me realize that I was responsible enough to care for pets and that this was something I could truly pursue. I began pet sitting and dog walking through Rover but soon felt the desire to branch out and start my own business.

During times when I was out of town, it was incredibly difficult not knowing if my pets were safe and well cared for. This experience inspired me to create Four Paws Pet Sitting – a place where pet owners can trust that their pets will receive the best care.

Four Paws is fully licensed by the city of Bend and the state of Oregon. I am also a member of Pet Sitters International (see membership information below)
